Human Drama

Recently, I watched a movie that really struck me. It's a special documentation that tackles the science of quantum physics. While watching it, I felt like I was in the movie. It's like I was watching myself. One of the things that I would never forget is about how most men are easily attracted to seductive women. Well, especially those ladies who exposes more skin. =) If you're a member of the masculine homo sapiens family, then I think you're guilty on this.

Have you heard of the term...

Hypothalamus?

To give you a simple definition, the hypothalamus is a portion of the brain that contains a number of small nuclei with a variety of functions. One of the most important functions of the hypothalamus is to link the nervous system to the endocrine system via the pituitary gland (hypophysis). Hey, I'm no human anatomist and I have no plans of discussing the technicalities of these terms. But the message was clear to me. This hypothalamus is the one thing that influence human feelings and emotions. It could be influenced by what we see, hear, touch and smell. Human senses in short. And then the brain gathers information from the past and sends it to mighty hypothalamus which in turn will create our feelings and expressions.

So what I'm trying to say here.. As I end that movie, I realized that I was being controlled by this hypothalamus that I have in my head. I came to understand why I had this sensual feeling everytime I see a sexy lady passing by. Of course it doesn't apply only to that category. I mean we all had our feelings of lust, sadness, hapiness, nervousness, etc.. These feelings are merely based on everyting we've seen, heard and experienced in the past. Thus creating the title of this post - Human Drama

The point is clear to me. If you don't take control of your mind, it will take control of you. And unless you learn how to take control of it, you'll never have freedom...

Fear of Failure? Or fear of Success?

It's a Saturday morning, and everyone is keeping an eye for typhoon "Pepeng". Neither the body nor the tail has reached Metro Manila but the rain has never stopped since 5pm this afternoon. Well anyway, this blog is not for "Pepeng", but it's about something that popped out of my mind after attending our leadership dojo @ 6pm last night. I've been hearing a lot about fear of failure but not about fear of success. Fear of success, is it really possible to have this kind of fear?

SHORTEN THE PAIN

As someone once said, "Life is a cruel teacher. It punishes you first, and then gives you the lesson. Yet like it or not, that is the process of true learning. The Money Life Cycle of the Poor, Middle Class and Wealthy

The Figure above shows the money cycle of the poor, middle class and wealthy. Let’s discuss it in a more detailed manner.

1.) Poor – as you can see, immediately after receiving their income, they spend it for all their doodads. These people have lots of stuff in their house even if some of those are not needed.

2.) Middle Class – now this one’s a little different. The middle class thinks that buying something like a house or a car will give them an asset. But according to Rich Dad, “an asset is something that puts money into your pocket.” So they pay the down payment and the monthly dues which in turn becomes a liability because it takes money away from their pocket every month....

The Ownership of Money!

“The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way; those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich!” Now I pulled this phrase from a book I am reading called “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles, so I do not claim it as my own. No I just started the book but the concepts are right on the money.

Why is it that a person can get rich while the person sitting next to them, can’t? Is it because they live in a certain area or were born with money? Is it because they have exceptional talents in business and money or maybe they have a destiny to be rich? I can tell you this much….I have seen and known both stupid and smart people that are rich. I have seen talented people and not so talented people who have become wealthy beyond imagination. People that live in Pinetop Arizona can and will get rich just as much as people in New York City can. The location, the talent, the birth date, the planets in alignment, have no effect on your potential to get rich.

Our business school teaches you how to do things in this “Certain Way.” It is a combination of Personal Development and Leadership that will enable you to reach your financial goals. The desire to get rich is not a bad thing. All it means is that you have a desire to reach your full potential and live life in abundance. The world has an abundance of money and materials….enough for everyone to enjoy and use. I once heard a saying, “The true measure of ones wealth is determined by how much they can give.” Now that is not word for word but it works. Sprained Ankle

It happened on our second match of the doubles tournament of MATCI. The score is tied at six all and I positioned myself near the net. Suddenly, our opponents lobbed the ball, so I ran backwards without looking on the ground when all of a sudden I heard a cracking sound as I sprained my ankle. I couldn't help myself but fall on the powdery shell courts of Olivarez. And then I closed my eyes for a minute trying to sense how I'm feeling with my left foot. The match was interrupted for I can't stand by my own anymore, and I'm still asking myself, "is this for real?" However, I decided to continue playing with my ankle bandaged and eventually we lost.

After this encounter I told myself I gotta reflect on this. Aware of the fact that personal growth involves the physical, I started asking myself how and why did that happened. "Its my fault, I should have done strength and conditioning before entering the tourney or I should have been a little bit smarter and tried to look on the groung first before initiating to run.

I took time off and then I realized that I can relate this to wealth building. That the wealthy also experience being knock down or injured, they get bankrupt at some point before they became successful. I remembered the line, "nine out of ten businesses fail". So I told myself that I shouldn't be disheartened nor be stopped. Its not the end, the only end for me is success. All I need to do is to accept the situation and move forward. Learn the lessons and keep on fighting to win!

My Multi-Million Testimonial

Secured with a regular job, I was a typical guy who just wanted to work and retire when I can no longer perform efficiently. Believing that life goes that way, and I can do nothing about it.

As of now, the greatest realization that I ever had is that to become wealthy your motivation must be something big, and it is not about money. I mean, you must have a motivation to contribute to other people's life by empowering them. Its something money can't buy, and for me, it really makes sense. "Live your life not only for oneself, but for others too."

Time and Money Freedom

The Four Types of Person are:

1) People with no time and money. They have no time because they must devote themselves to work. And they have no money because they have to pay their bills and expenses everytime they receive their salary, leaving them broke every end of the month.

2) People with time but no money. Because they don't have work, they have lots of free time. And because they don't have work, they don't have money.

3) People with no time but with money. These people are strict savers, they don't have time like the # 1 person because of work. But they have money because they save too much.

4) People with time and money. They are called, the wealthy. They have time for their loved ones, and they can do whatever they wish. Because they have passive income, they don't need to work. And its the same reason why they have money, because what they have is multiple streams of passive income..

You can be one of these persons. But you have a choice to change if you don't like your standing. In fact, a lot of people think they are destined to be where they are now. And they never realize that they had choosen to be what they are.

For me, I had choosen to be a number 4 person. And I know I can do it..
